The 27th of May marked a special occasion at Golf Le Champêtre as 156 women from various regions of Quebec, both English and French-speaking, gathered to celebrate Women’s Golf Day—an event organized in partnership with hiatus golf and Golf Québec. The day was a huge success, blending competition, learning, and networking in a warm and inspiring atmosphere.

We were honored to welcome Christine Fraser, renowned golf architect and our guest of honor, who left a lasting impression during an engaging panel held at the closing cocktail reception. Christine shared her insights on key topics including environmental integration in course design, the growing role of women in golf, her creative process, and the promising future of golf. Her inspiring talk sparked many thoughtful conversations among attendees, strengthening the connection between sport, design, and sustainable commitment.
Friendly competition took place under beautiful sunny skies, highlighting community spirit, determination, and shared enjoyment.
We warmly thank pro player Anne Rogerson, the instigator of this inspiring event, along with the professional golfers who joined throughout the day to offer valuable tips and support to all participants. A big thank you to the team at Golf Le Champêtre for their dedication.
This Women’s Golf Day was more than just a sporting event — it embodied a strong community that champions women’s sports and the evolution of golf through innovation. We warmly thank all participants and our partners — Adidas Golf, Callaway, Druide, and Golf Québec — whose dedication made this event truly special.
We look forward to continuing this journey, welcoming even more passionate players, and growing this wonderful community in the years to come.
